Americas: US Telecoms Market To Heat Up In 2013

The competitive environment in the US telecoms market will have a new look heading into 2013. Market
leaders Verizon and AT&T are facing renewed pressure from the radically improved Sprint, the potential
entry of DISH Network and the stronger T-Mobile USA following a merger with MetroPCS. BMI
considers these to be positive developments for the market but does not expect to see any significant change
until at least the end of the year.
